The nominating committee is asking for volunteers to serve on Board 104. This is a 6 month term and begins in May. Below is a brief explanation of the different positions on the board. Some of the board duties take more time than others. I will try to give you a very honest answer if you ask me about serving on the board and what the job entails.
We need people to step up and volunteer. The club cannot be what it is without volunteers. We currently have 2 volunteers and the following 13 board positions are open. The new slate of officers will be announced at the March meeting.
Serving on the board during the summer is in some ways easier, as their are fewer people here in the summer months.
I hope you will take a few minutes and read the information below, and give some consideration to volunteering. If you get some of your friends to assist you, it can be a lot of fun.
